WAKEFIELD — Doris A. LaSpina, 90, of Wakefield died Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Born December 20, 1928 the daughter of the late Michael and Alice (Condon) Beatty. She was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School class of 1946. Doris had been a Wakefield resident since 1950.
She was a retired clerk from the former American Mutual Insurance Company of Wakefield. She was a member of Saint Florence Church and a member of the Ladies Sodality of the church.
Doris was the wife of the late William P. LaSpina. She was the loving mother of Patricia Krol of Wakefield, Doris Conway and husband William of Ipswich and the late Janet Corkern. She was the sister of Arthur Beatty of South Yarmouth and the late Donald Beatty and Connie Gandolfo. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield, Friday, September 20 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Saint Florence Church, 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
