Enjoyed family visits in Nova Scotia

WAKEFIELD — Juanita C. Daly, 86, of Wakefield, formerly of Cambridge, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Cambridge on March 14, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eleanor (Walsh) Tustin.

Mrs. Daly was raised and educated in Cambridge. She had been a longtime Wakefield resident, having moved to the area in 1961. For 35 years she had worked as the clerk at Hart’s Hardware of Wakefield. She enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Nova Scotia to visit her family. She especially enjoyed making trips with her dear friend, Martha Tenney.

She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel “Joe” Daly. She was the loving mother of Daniel J. Daly, Jr. and his wife Leen of Belgium, David J. Daly and his wife Laura of York, Maine, Alan M. Daly and his wife Carmen of Peabody, Michael J. Daly of Wakefield, Laura Weiderman and her husband Tom of Ashburnham, and Nancy E. Daly of Salem. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Service.
