Loved to read and crochet, enjoyed time at Lake Winnipesaukee

WAKEFIELD — Marjorie E. Moore, 73, a lifelong Wakefield resident passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Winchester Hospital. Born June 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine (Glynn) Berube.

Marjorie is survived by her husband Michael D. Moore, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Daniel Moore and his wife Rebecca of Conover, N.C., Michele Phillips and her husband Jay, and Stacy Wight and her husband Andrew, both of Wakefield. She was the dear sister of Donna Hurley and her husband Jack of Chester, N.H., and Russell Berube and his wife Laura of Hampton, N.H. Marjorie was the cherished grandmother of Ashley, Honaleigh, Jayme, Taylor, Delanie, and Ally. She is also survived by her three sisters-in-law.

Marjorie graduated from Wakefield Memorial High School in 1965. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, and volunteering her time to teach others the truths of the Bible. She loved to read, crochet and spend time at her favorite vacation spot, Lake Winnipesaukee. Marjorie was a member of the Stoneham Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses her entire life, where all will miss her smiling face and warm hugs.
