Had an extensive doll collection

WAKEFIELD — Susan A. (Donohue) Blake, 55,  passed away at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading on December 9, 2017.  Susan was born in Boston on November 29, 1962, she was raised in East Boston, graduated from Boston Latin High School and from Katherine Gibbs Business School.

She lived in East Boston for 24 years and the last 31 years in Wakefield. Mrs. Blake worked as a regional manager for Hartford Insurance Company for over 30 years. Susan enjoyed times spent with family and friends, loved Disneyworld, loved kids and had an extensive doll collection. She loved taking walks with her dog “Nala”, spending time in New Hampshire and the trips to Storyland. She was beautiful on the inside and out and her two boys were the most important part of her life.

Susan was the beloved wife of 31 years to Michael W. Blake. Loving mother of Steven A. Donohue of Wakefield and Michael S. Blake and his wife Margaret of Revere. Cherished daughter of Helen (Haddock) Donohue of East Boston and her late father Paul Donohue. Caring sister of Frances Daniels and her husband Thomas of East Boston, Doreen Donohue and her companion Doreen Schiavone of Lynn, and the late Cynthia Donohue. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 14, in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00 a.m., followed by a burial at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
