WAKEFIELD — William David “Bill” Loconzolo, 75, of Wakefield and Nottingham, N.H., died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his residence in Wakefield.

Born in Malden on March 10, 1943 he was the son of the late Joseph Loconzolo, Jr. and Anna (Casselo) Loconzolo.

Bill was raised in Malden before his family moved to Greenwood and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. Upon graduation Bill went to work as a union carpenter before establishing his own contracting business, Loconzolo Construction. He raised his family in Wakefield with his former wife Patricia (Iosua) Dudley. He loved food, cooking, fishing and antique cars, most especially Corvettes. Above all, Bill cherished time with his family, spending time on the lake in New Hampshire, eating great food, and enjoying life to the fullest.

He was the loving father of William J. Loconzolo and his wife Michele of Monte Sereno, Calif., Jennifer L. DiBari and her husband Jerome DiBari, Jr. of Chelmsford, Michael D. Loconzolo and his wife Maureen of Brooklyn, N.Y. and the late Michelle Loconzolo. He was the cherished grandfather of Joseph, Justin, Alek, Dominic, Anthony, George and Sofia. He was the brother of Joseph Loconzolo of Wakefield and the late George Loconzolo and Celia “Cis” Magliozzi and the companion of Victoria Shotton of Wakefield. He is also survived by his nephew and niece: Raymond and Janet Magliozzi of Malden; as well as several other nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends, for which he went out of his way to make himself available, in whatever way needed.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be private.
